Electronics and Communication Engineering is a study of various principles and practical aspects related to the designing various communications equipment. Electronics and Communication Engineers develop prototypes of integrated circuit components. In the near future there is bound to be huge demand for competent engineers and here comes the TIG vowing to train the students in such a way so that there will be more and more innovations by the CEC alumni.

The department of Electrical Engineering at Chaibasa Engineering College offers a vibrant environment for under graduate education in Electrical Engineering. It is one of the first few departments at this college. The vision of the department is to provide the leadership to enable India's excellence in the field of Electrical Engineering.
